Objective
Measurement machine manufacturers from the length measuring technology sector wanted to present their OPC UA Companion Specification at Control, the International Trade Fair for Quality Assurance (3-6 May, 2022 in Stuttgart). This required integration of reference extensions with the Umati dashboard so that live machine data from the measuring machines could be prepared in accordance with the OPC UA standard. The Measuring and Testing Technology Trade Association turned to FVA GmbH for quick realization and implementation of the project.
